How to go in and out of scenes without the camera control?

How do I move from one scene to another WITHOUT camera control thingy? I'm sure I have seen a video before explaining this but can't find it.
You only see the next scene as you enter it and works the same way if you go backwards.
EXAMPLE - your in scene 1 and you roll a ball to the end of the SCREEN and your in scene 2 but you can go back or roll back into scene 1 again
