colors is not vibrant !!!!!1

the colors look very good the computer but once i test it with GS viewer it just look different ?? why is so ??

the resolution for everything is 300 DPI and RGB does this affect it ???

    as i have two buttons the same color , kept one on the 300 and changed the other to 72 but it did not change anything it still look the same

    the images are sharp and the resolution is fine , the issue is the colors it look so fady on the viewer but on the mac it look as i designed it , everything i mean actors , background buttons

    RGB 8bit , saving PNG standard on photoshop CS5 no options for the PNG

    definitely it reduces the size by woow which i also need but same color problem :S , i'll try to AdHoc and see

    The device just displays colours differently to your monitors. It is probably something to do with your colour profiles though. If you save for web and devices, you can pick what colour profile you want, play around with them and see what differences you get. Also, I seem to get colours that represent my monitor more when I use save as and pick PNG. I think it embeds the colour profile (don't quote me on this bit though).

    Also, things do need to be 72 dpi as mentioned above and I always make sure mine are still even when divisible by 4 when using Resolution Indipendance; but as Tshirt said, at least make sure they are even when divided by 2.

    What device are you testing on?
    The colours look very different on my 3gs than they do on my 4s, and than they do on my mac.

    It's not a Mac screen thing cause I just tried on the iPhone an the iPad and it's the same it's so u know in vibrant in still trying to figure out. A question that might sound stupid , what exactly the divide issue ? Am I missing something ?

    Ok tried 3GS , 4 and iPad 2 , all look the same which is different from the iMac
