Audio delay issue only related to kindle fire?

I saw that tshirtbooth posted a temporary workaround for the audio delay issue on the kindle fire. I thought the audio delay issue was happening on all android devices, but I tested a game on an android phone and it worked fine.
I only have a kindle fire and have access to one android phone, so I can't test on anything else, but has anybody else noticed the audio issue is gone on other android devices? If so which ones seem to be affected.
