I asked where do the iads (advertisements) come from, apple servers or do you insert your own and how much do you make.. here is his response. ----------------------------------------------
iAds simply makes a call to Apple's servers to provide an iAd. The current payment rate for iAds is $0.01 for an iAd that shows up, and $2.00 if someone clicks on the banner. Apple currently takes 40% of this payment, leaving you with 60%. So, essentially, you are being paid $0.006 per view and $1.20 per click have a good one.

Sure thats an approx of the payment although every app gets a different rate for clicks and views based on a lot of factors. The other major deciding factor that will decide how much you make is your fill rate. And I can tell you with confidence the higher your daily downloads the higher your fill rate. I have watched the daily stats on iADs drop with the decline of the daily downloads.
