What step should I use on making images?

1 st step is to draw images on i paper then I either scan it or take a picture to transfer to the iPad then I use a program called sketchbook to trace the image but when I import then to game salad if I make my actor say 50x50 with a 200x200 image on the creator looks really bad but in the ipad or iPod viewer they look ok. Is this ok? Also I just read I should use vector images so I always edit my images with photoshop, by working/editing on photoshop do I am making vector images? Tshitboot say to use illustrator which I will try to get it later so which one is better for editing and drawing? But I really prefer working on the iPad as is more easy to me. Thanks

Thanks tshirtboot for always helping but i know all that about sizes, what i need to know if is ok if the images look bad on the creator but good when i preview them on a device, and what i asked if with photoshop iam creating vector images? Or should i use illustrator? Remember what iam looking for is the best way to import traces images on the ipad to photoshop for size editing and last to gamesalad

By the way do u know why sometimes when i loging with my other username i get you dont have rights to view this site , so i had to create a new user and did work sometimes i cant see the forums the whole day.

Its happening to all of is. Its a problem with the site thats getting fixed with the new forum.
Also stick with one username, its against the terms to have more then one
