Does anyone have a twitter page? Does it help with App sales?

Wether or not it really helps with sales depends on how many followers you have, and who is following you.
I'd recommend making a Twitter page because it definitely won't hurt.

I only have about a dozen twitter followers, but some are important in marketing such as a Japanese site, they helped me get thousands of downloads in Japan, so even if you only have a couple of followers, they could really help.

I created a twitter Page but all of my followers are BAD spam. Are you getting a bunch of spam followers as well?

use http://www.innovatty.com/twitter/IDRTG/index.php?page=home, it helps indie developers get their messages out through retweets, it really works, i've gotten tweets to 20000 people through this method, and i only have like 460 followers

Twitter helps much more than Facebook does, IMO. My previous twitter account had around 2000 followers. I had a reach of almost 10k due to retweets and such. Before having a twitter, my sales were not even half of what they were afterwards.
