This is what I originally thought to do, but I think we're having a mis communication as my partner thinks differently.
If I turn out to be right or, if whatever he is thinking turns out to be impossible, does anyone know how to make particles spawn behind the actor?

    Thanks.

yes, you create another actor that sits behind the actor that you want the particles to be behind

then constrain position to the position of the main actor

    then spawn particles

    enjoy!

What do you want differently from your 2nd video? Is this not working as you wanted?

I thought that'd be it to. Thought maybe there'd be another less power using method though, but all good!

Beefy - Nah she's right mate, it's all sorted. My partner just doubted my method a little but now he's agreeing ;)
