"ipad landscape" on iphone - possible universal app method??

so , I'm working on a new app for the ipad with intentions to release it on the iphone (and itouch) and possibly mac appstore.

my project is being build on the "ipad landscape" setting….

thing is, i have a 1024 x 1024 scene but the camera is shrinked to iphone size (to follow the player).

this works surprisingly well on the ipad but, when i test the game on the iPhone, it works perfectly well too!

so my question is:
can i make this a universal app?

if not then, can i release this app for iphone as is, even though the settings is under "ipad landscape"?

    ok i just realized that maybe the "universal app" thing might not at. the ipad runs iphone apps at 2x.

    so my other question remains...
    can i publish a game for iphone under the 'ipad landscape" setting?

    Read up on this. your on the right track to quickly converting but im not sure if you can publish to the iphone with iPad selected. I do know with a small amount of work you can quickly convert your iphone to ipad and ipad to iphone by using camera adjustments.

    thanks will look into this asap when i get home :p

    i think the transition won't take so long. I wanted to use DBA's resizer but its not cheap, and not necessary for my project. i think i can do it myself. i would want to anyways, itll be a learning experience, can't wait to show you guys what i'm working on :p
