Try art text, you don't need any skill and can still Mage decent graphics
Shadow is very easy in the program as well

thanks I downloaded art text 2 lite and it makes cool buttons, but I want to do more things, like: persons, animals, and that kind of things, not text. Do you know any other program?

Illustrator is expensive, although there is a student price if you are a student

I downloaded the trial for 30 days
  • calvin9403calvin9403 Member Posts: 3,186
Ya it is going to expire after 30 days

But anyways, I'll test it. The good thing is the I have a neighbor that he is a graphical designer so I will tell him if he can do my graphics. I hope is not expensive.

    Seascape is free
and... I think it is a good beginner's program.

    I have but don't use:
    Illustrator is $299.00
Photoshop is used for graphics by many... but as it's name says...

    Pixelmator is $29.99
and much more user friendly than Adobe products...for beginners

    Pixen is free
    and very user friendly

as @JohnPapiomitis points out: you do have to give some time to learning new programs!
as @calvin9403 points out: artText is good for graphics...you just didn't give it a work-out!

I have used Gimp for years...and just this past week I learned a new built-in technique!

Which program of all you mentioned do you recommend me I'm a beginner.

    for a real beginner... Seascape

but explore everything ... push all the buttons ... use all the tools...
think of it as an adventure quest ... where the goal is to make your mental images real.

Starting off designing with Illustrator/Inkscape is a bad idea. The pen tool is not a concept most get instantly.

Learn Paint.NET. Free, great community, more user generated plugins that photoshop, easy UI, and thousands of tutorials.
