    Hard to say as Studio isn't even out yet. I have high hopes for it though

    Game Maker is quite Powerful but it can only make Windows .exes and HTML5 Games.
    I think its one of the first tools to be able to export to HTML. iOS and Android Exporters is not out yet so it cant really be compared to GS

    A nearer competitor would be MMF2 which has released an iOS exporter recently . It already can export to flash.

    @rudystyle It exports to windows,mac,html5

    I don't think the actual program will change that much, it will just be able to export to ios. So you can still compare the actual programs.

    GameSalad is still tops in my book. I don't like the interface of the other options out there, but I guess anything can be gotten used to over time. It's no secret around here that a lot of people are ticked off over the problems of the recent few months with GameSalad, and are probably wondering how they are going to have anything stable for version 1.0

    Personally, I'm sticking with GameSalad, I have faith all of these problems will be ironed out over time, and when they are, GameSalad will be an incredible tool for those of us wanting to make iOS games, and no desire to learn code. I haven't had a major catastrophe with the buggy updates, or broken behaviors that were once working fine, and I'm sure if i had, I'd probably be ready to move on myself, but I'm careful with updates, especially if i'm in the middle of a project.

    The other SDK's out there, and ones that are coming out look promising. Even auto mechanics have more than one wrench in their toolbox, and having other SDK options for development can't be a bad thing. But as for me and my house, we're sticking with GameSalad. It's what I know, and it has the best community, and in result, the best resources for solving problems than any one else…by far. I think it's the best option out there, personally. Just need to get these recent major issues ironed out.
