Thinking about trying GS out. Can I make board games?

Hello, I'm a novice when it comes to apps, but I'm fairly good with math and design.

Can I make a gameboard type game with Game Salad, similar to chess but I could create unique rules and moves for the pieces?

Can I make a mutliplayer game, for example 2 people playing checkers against each other? Either live, or turn based (like scrabble)

    Yes and no. You can make a multiplayer on one device and dependant how crazy the game logic is, it can be done at the moment, but we are getting tables and arrays soon, which will make the logic a whole lot more do-able!

    My advice is TRY GAMESALAD OUT it will be a brilliant experience and the software is great,
    as for board games watch this video (But as ace said the answer is yes and no)
