New year project help with time?!

Hey,

I want a time to be started when an object is pressed but I do not
want seconds, I want thousand or hundredth of seconds to be started (and displayed)

how to do?

I'd like to have a time after pressing like 0.512 ...
To give some info, I change the alpha of an object from zero to 1 and
then the player has to press the object as fast as possible. And to give him 1,2 or 3 stars
I need the time in thousands...like 0.512 and so on

please help ...

EDIT: In this case, I can't use game.time because I need a extra time for this
