how many images could i use to do an animation in my game?

Honestly it depends on a lot of factors. Like image and how many other images are in the scene. Small image dimensions you will be able to do quite a few frames as long as there not much else going on. but if it large images it will prob bring your performance down a bit.
i was thinking... i don't have pro. but couldn't i play video's using the open url behavior?? have it go to a website inside the game salad viewer... i believe it doesnt go out to safari anymore. and after the allotted time on the website showing the video, go back to the game and go to the next scene?
i am surprised i haven't seen someone try this. maybe its cause its not possible? what are your thoughts?

I dont think it would work. especially with forcing it to come back. You could prob use open url to send someone to a video. but there would be no app rules or behaviors in the background. you essentially are pausing the game with you use the in app browser
