Because they're all so good at GS! :D <3
Seriously want to be that awesome. I dream of being a Sous Chef, but I want to be a GS Master.
Not for money, but because I really enjoy making games. ( I have library of basic games i've made)

What do you guys think is the best way to learn the most complex things in GS?
Like all that crazy code that makes no sense to me.

Discuss away!

I also hate Sci Tunes. He makes Great, complex games.

If you already know how to code GS is alot easier to pick up fast.

@QS Thats funny its been your bible 2 years longer than I have been alive. :P

@FallacyStudios I never coded anything but a website before I started GS. I mean, I guess i'm not good enough to be hated by OZ, but I do alright I think. ;)

I cheat... I have a team of highly trained French hamsters that I got off eBay. I tell them what I want doing and the moustache wearing buggers do it for me. I was reluctant to reveal my secret, but now everybody knows :)

In all seriousness though, they are Russian gerbils, not hamsters.

I am just lucky that I get a lot of free time. I'm a musician by trade, so at most I work for 2 hours a day. Even when I'm on tour, the rest of the time is travelling so I get to use GS as much as I want. I tend to use it about 9 hours a day, most days. That sheer amount of time I spend using the software, mixed with my trained Lithuanian guinea pigs (not Russian gerbils) helping me out, it's just a matter of time really.

Since my daughter was born, time has been less but I'm still managing at least 7-8 hours a day. 2 days ago though, I even got 20 hours in in one day.

    Ace

P.S. We all hate you, too ;)

I'll ignore the fact that I wasn't hated for now :) But in all seriousness, I strive every day to learn more and more about the internal workings of GameSalad so I can make better games. Which, if you look at the games I first made compared to the games I make now, I have learned a lot in my year+ with GameSalad. As TSB said, it helps if you spend a great deal of time using GS. We were fortunate enough to do well enough on the App Store earlier this year that we started our own company back in May dedicated to writing quality mobile applications. Even with all the expenses we have had this year, we will still end the year in the black by quite a decent amount! I continue to get better and better because of the help of the great minds here at GameSalad.
