Hi Guys,

Wanted to ask what software you use to record your promo videos to show off your games?

I have a 10meg camera but its not brilliant.

I also used camtasia on pc but now looking for a decent Mac screen capture as i plan on recording via GS previewer.

Thanks,

Darren.

I asked about this recently and was directed to http://screenr.com/ which is free, no install required and allows export to MP4 and YouTube.

I had a quick play and it seems to do the job well.

If you have snow leopard QuickTime has a built in screen recording kit
I use that and then edit the video after in Final Cut Pro

I will 2nd http://www.screenr.com. It records the sound and you can set the record area before you start. Once recorded, it can be tweeted, you tubed or downloaded via mp4.

Not bad at all for free.

I use a program called ScreenFlow to capture video and audio from my Mac, and then I use Adobe Premiere to do fancier video editing stuff.
