making actors loop in a scene

Hi all, noob here. Just wanted to know how to create a loop in a scene? I am trying to replicate a car driving down the road (side profile view) with a copse of trees that continually loop in the background. I have tried everything that the cookbook suggested which was to create a rule, add the animation behavior with the 'loop' button checked, but a loop does not occur. I have tried every iteration of the rule box as well as the animation box, to no avail. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Then loop option needs to be checked and the restore image does not need to be checked. If that is not making your animation loop, then the error may be somewhere in your rules for it.
