what is the right size to create a game on ipad?

i set in Game Salad 1024x768 or 1280x720 ?

    The native resolution is 1024x768. If you run an iPhone App at 480x320, there is a pixel doubling option to take it up to 960x640.

    I would've thought so - also, bear in mind that for your ipdad game to be accepted by Apple, it must auto rotate all 4 ways!
