Around the 1st month GameSalad came out, i asked if anyone one was making good money. A few months later im asking again. If u feel comfortable sharing the amount of money u are making with your games, and if it is possible for a kid to be "HAPPY" from this income hahah.

I would say "yes" and "yes" based on things I have heard from some of the better known names on these forums...especially for a "kid" as you say.

Definitely, I am a kid and I made so far $90 in a month and a half and about to release another game to boost sales.

    Cheers, Weswog

Im 18, still in high school, but I haven't released a game in the App Store yet. I'm just hoping I can make the $200 back. I just released a Demo version of my game on the site.

Yes. I've had a ton of problems trying to get the iPhone Developer Program to work. I already paid, but it isn't letting me go any further because they told me my information was wrong. So im having to send them information through a fax.

$99 per year actually...same as GS express

@kempproductions: just email Apple, they will sort it out. a fax shouldn't be necessary

The secret to making money with any product like an app is to advertise it! Which luckily I know how to do and hopefully once I make my app I'll get many buyers that want my app. Also make sure you choose the right keywords... That can be really important. I know of some people that didn't have to advertise since their app ranked number one in the app store for a big search term.

By the way wow everyones in highschool ha *high five* me too(17). I love seeing other people my age doing the same thing. Everyone at my schools like you do affiliate marketing and make games.... your weird haha

but to answer your question I've heard many people making $100-$500 a day off their app...

well im 14, i have managed to gain 350 Euros (450$ about) in 3 months...
i have 13 apps in the appstore which are no way as good as tshirtbooth's or firemaple's games.
    3 are still in approval.
the sales have shot up last month about 3-5$ a day ( :P ) and this month (with more apps) 5-10$ a day.
that is not a bad profit for a teenager :)
