GS viewer update required? why is this happening?

i have downloaded and installed it like 4 times now and i still get the same msg! i have the viewer on my devises (ipad and iphone) but i can't get the games on to the device because i need to update even though i have done so already...


why is this happening? :-(

    looks like i had the old version on ipad and iphone so thats why it did not work on the devises but now i can't get the new viewer on them at all. i can get the logo to appear but then nothing more than that.

    it says: "Data formatters temporarily unavailable, will re-try after a 'continue'. (Cannot call into the loader at present, it is locked.)"

    sorry for posting again but i really need help....

    got it to work on Iphone but still the same msg for ipad2

    really confusing what problem you are having. there's a video in cookbook that explains how to set-up viewer did you check that?

    yeah i did and it is working on iphone so i am doing it right it seems but doing something wrong with ipad2... which is weird as it is the same thing right? i got the old viewer working on ipad2 and iphone but the new one only on iphone

    looks like your having the same problem i am.I can load the viewer to my iphone but not ipad 2.Before the update i could,but after i updated i couldnt.It really is frustrating.Could it be because ios5 is required? iam still on 4.3.5. anyone running ipad 2 on this version fine?

    well i'm glad i'm not the only one.

    i don't have iOS5 installed so if that is the case it should be resolved. i am downloading it now and see if it solves the problem.

    yes it solved the problem when i installed iOS5 so you should do the same :)

    Well thats good to know.I don't really want to update but I guess iam gonna have too.I still use Xcode to make apps and run version 10.6.6 on my pro and iMac so I can't get the latest Xcode and won't be able to test my apps on my devices because of ios5
