Upgrading my 2010 Mac Mini's RAM. Any recommendations?

I'm going to upgrade my RAM because I'd like to see my mini's performance increase. I really don't know where to buy from or if I should get 4, 6, or 8 GB. I've searched around but a lot of information I find is outdated. Anyone have recommendations?

search for mac ram. there's a lot of websites that sells them and system that lets you pick your computer and gives you the correct ram. if you have the money max the ram, buy the fastest also ecc registered ram, they are more expensive but more reliable.

8gb I plan on doing an upgrade to my MBP new egg has loads of mac ram and you can normally get a decent 8GB kit for around $80

Well its the max you can do and its double now. so it surely will help.

My plan is actually an 8GB upgrade and then upgrading my hardDrive to the seagate momentous XT hybrid SSD 750GB im unsure about the harddrive but its a massive drive and its only like $250 so even a small increase is a plus when you consider the massive amount of drive space.

That one doesn't show a mac mini in the compatibility list. Also I would caution Cheep RAM. Kingston is normally a value brand and while it can run great for years on end this is not really a category to go generic due the importance of the quality and reliability. I would plan on more like $80 if it were me.

You know now that I look at neweggs site there some decent looking corsair ram for $40 wow this upgrade may have gotten a bit cheaper

http://www.crucial.com/mac/ this will at least tell you the exact specs you need for your mac. They will give you a list of their products to choose from but as long as you buy something with the same specs that is mac compatible you should be good. I'm kinda excited this upgrade is gonna be a bit cheaper than expected.

One of the reviews mentioned using it in a Mac Mini... I'll be getting a new computer for college in like a year so I'm not sure I really need to worry about it lasting that long.
