HTML5
hi guys, adobe is working on a new tool called edge, and it seems like they will be putting the power of HTML5 into everyone's hand, which will eat away the appeal that gamesalad can also export to html5.. (if edge takes off like most other adobe product people will flock Gamesalad because most mobile browser can run web-apps too) with that being said, the project has great potential and flopped because you guys decide to put a watermark on it and have size restriction. I do not believe as many people is publishing as much to HTML5 as you had hoped, why not resurrect the dead and put it to good use? by allowing pro users to export private-labeled html5 and work-out a better monitizing method something like.. a collaboration with paypal and other merchant services or what-not that allows pro users to "sell" web-app service when users pays for access or membership to the web-app and gamesalad can taking 30% cut from the transaction(instead of apple), or even just free version of the app that they can post on their own website, it has to be whitebox service, meaning no where during check-out/payment does it say Gamesalad. (think about it, if we can take credit card we don't even want to show paypal for that matter)
I think you guys will make a lot more progress and money if you pass the power to the pro users allowing them to make more money, while staying behind the scene, you don't need more visibility or more users to generate more revenue, you need a better corporate image higher quality developers and let your developers make money for you while staying behind and support them. you have so many great ideas and poor execution / marketing decision, it's really sad to see your effort go to waste.
just my 2 cent, i'll never publish anything with the gamesalad stick plastered all over it and i'm sure a lot of the pro members will say the same.
that being said, HTML5 shouldn't be your priority as i know you are aware of, but it'll be a win or lose trump card for the future that you got to know how to use.

look at the source of the problem, and not focus on the result of the problem.. you guys are programmers and problem solving is at the core of your career... if you still can't figure it out, hire someone or a firm that knows what they are doing to fix the problem for you.
i don't like to give free advices because when it's free people tend to think it's worthless and lack credibility... if you'd to pay someone a million dollars i bet you'll put the advice to action. that being said, i'm just tired of getting dragged along in this mess. i want you guys to win so i can win.
Back to this, yes custom exporting is a must, i don't see why we must have GameSalad over it on a pro account!
