Preloading Art

There is a "Preload Art" attribute in every actor, and I don't know how it effects the game. Does anyone know what effect the "preload art" attribute has? Would unchecking this box speed up scene loading by any chance?

    when you check the preload art it preloads the art when loading

    and don't check every actor because that will make your loagind time forever

    Okay so unchecking preload art shortens the loading time, thats good. However, does it increase spawning time?

    Depends what you are spawing. If you are spawing actors that are not in that scene then you are better off preloading that.

    is better to check perload art with the actors on the first scene

    Alright, thanks you guys. This was helpful, I managed to decrease my loading times by a whole lot.
