increased price, and had interesting reaction by buyers

i changed it from 99 cents $1.99 and have actually increased my daily sales by quite a few, probably like 130% of what i had before, so 30% increase in VOLUME, so thats a little more then doubles the revenue.

Great idea to just test how pricing would make my app stand out, i feel that many people see similar apps, and although most will go for the 99 cent app, some, enough for me to be happy, see the 1.99 and think... "hmm, must be better, it will be worth it"

so making my game MORE expensive actually made it more attractive to buyers.

    What?

First, I want to know what your game is. I agree that this is interesting. Do you think it is because the game has just been out, and now, it has become a little bit more popular, and people think that is still worth that price, so they buy it. I think it is possible that it is because of increased popularity, and the game good enough to be worth 2$

its is a utility app, and had been out for about a month before i enacted the price change,
but at the same time i did the price change i had some friends add good reviews so it shows 9 5 star reviews, about half of them from people i gave promo codes.
so instead of showing no reviews it shows 5 star average.

so it could be a combo of the reviews and a little bit of exposure time. but even i am honest to my self and there are quite a few apps out there like it so getting atttention in that area is hard. so i think the price difference gives it the appearance that its in a league of its own.
