http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/36871/change-scene-behavior-not-working... I have tried everything listed here. I have deleted the behaviors, I have deleted the scenes, and I have even gone so far as to start a new project... I can't get the thing to go to the right page... Any help?

More complete description... I have tried to change the scene on my app 1 million times... it keeps going to the wrong page. I have started three separate projects and keep getting the same result. Four buttons on the first page, the first one always works... and I build them one at a time to make sure... the second one is supposed to go to a different page but it reverts back to the page of the first button. When I remove all the rules on the actor i still have the issue and it still goes to the wrong page. Also if I change a scene background, the scene slides on the home page NEVER update. So is there something I'm missing, like a refresh button or something? Please help.

How are the rules setup for each button?

And you have to manually update the scene thumbnail/screenshots while using preview. You click the little camera button and set a new screen shot.

I created the rule then i did on event touch... then I dragged in play sound and change scene... I changed the sound and scene in the drop down boxes to what i wanted them to be, then dragged the actors to the place I wanted them to be on the home page. I have three pages... the home page... page 1 and page 2 I haven't even started on page three four and five yet... so the actor is set up in the same way, when I click on it it goes to page 1 and plays the sound (like it is supposed to... the second actor when I click on it it plays the sound but it goes to page 1 instead of the one I have it set up for which is page 2.

Did you open the second actor and change the change scene to page 2 or did you leave it as next scene?

Yes, that is what I am saying, I have never left it on default, i have always changed it to page two... even when I started completely over from scratch... I think I am gonna do a screen capture and upload it to youtube and post it so you can see what i mean. I may be explaining it wrong.

it hasn't fully uploaded yet... Ihad to install screenium real quick and forgot to enable the internal microphone... but it seems pretty self explainatory... if not I will do the recording again... WITH SOUND :-)

I think I may have fixed it... I was using the same picture with the same name for two different scenes and I think that is what stopped it from working. I deleted both pic's and the actors used in them... then added the same pic twice in the actors section and renamed one... now it is working. I HOPE... if it happens again, I'll post it :-)

My guess is your first button has a mouse is down rule or something triggering the change. And since it's lower in the layer it's rules run first.

@muveemutt - Yeah, that'll do it. You can also unlock the actor when it's on the stage, and apply individual rules and behaviors for different instances of the same image, but that also stops you from being able to edit the prototype in the bin and have it affect the actor on the stage.
