Help with saving...

I am making a game is which objects are placed and moved throughout the game. How do I save the location of a added or moved object? I tried making an actor that triggered an attribute which told the object I was going to save to save its X and Y and Rotation attributes under the key "one". I made another actor that turned on an attribute which triggered the object that was saved to load the same three attributes. I clicked the save button reseted the scene then the load button. The object loaded in a different place but not where I saved it. How do I save it correctly.

    About how many objects are you talking about?

    Well as of now I'm running a test game so just one. But say if I wanted to have a larger amount of objects wouldn't it still work? What I want to know is how I can get the object to actually resume the position it was in when I hit save.
