ok so iam trying to install my developer certificates on my imac so i can work in xcode/gamesalad.I been working from my pro.But i did all my certificates on my macbook when i first opened my account. Now i know you can "transfer" them to a new "device" but i cant seem to figure it out.I followed the documentation from apple but xcode still dosent read the certificates.Does anyone know how to reinstall the certificates on a new computer?

hmmm there should be three files you need to install.. dont forget the link in the certificate section that says:
*If you do not have the WWDR intermediate certificate installed, click here to download now.

So you need your own .cer and the wwdr .cer and then you add the mobile provisioning.. those three files should be all you need.... the .cer files installed by simply clicking them and seeing the appropriate keychain stuff happen..

are you following this tutorial http://cookbook.gamesalad.com/tutorials/3/parts/12 ?

    Thanks

thanks for the reply. But getting the certificates the first time is easy. But when you want to use xcode on a new mac its not as simple as downloading them from the portal. You actually have to go the the keychain you first requested them from and right click on them and "export them".Than you just email them to yourself on your new mac and install them. And i guess it takes a little bit for xcode to pick it up so thats why i thought it wasent working. So remember this when you need to use xcode on a diffrient computer.

@johnydee I can help you if you want to hook up on facetime. if you have access to your original mac with the certs you make copies and transfer them over.
