Laptop Build for gamesalad

I happen to have a Macbook pro, but my brother wants to develop on gamesalad and is looking for a much cheaper laptop that runs gamesalad pretty well. Wanting to know if there are laptops that support the OSX and are cheap duocores, around 4-6 hundred dollars. Sorry if this is in the wrong discussion boards. Just a Windows Guy that really wants to work with gamesalad.

You should be able to find a decent mac book for $600 if you look at used places like craigslist. Its gonna always without a doubt run better than a hackintosh. Trust me I speak from experience.
