Cheers for any clues.

I knew there would be a rice based dessert limitation to iPad games, but I need numbers, numbers !!

The only size limitation is the same for iPhone. If you want to download over 3g it needs to be under 20MB.

    Cheers for the reply tenrdrmer.
Is that an Apple recommendation - ie: if you game is over 20MB then they are unlikely to approve it ?

No they will approve any size you submt. It just will not be downloadable over 3g. It will require a wifi connection.

Got it, that makes sense, cheers for the info.

Right, let's get back to work on my 32GB version of tic-tac-toe. : )

In all seriousness, I'll hopefully be under 20MB (a kids book I am working on) - I was just worried about the voice over, need to work out the best way to keep the memory down.

    One more question . . . .

Does making a game Wi-fi only (ie: over 20MB) impact on a games success/sales as far as anyone knows ?

    Opinions . . . ?

    New clue: Beef Wellington

    Only joking :)

Nope, not really. I have had similar results with both, although I do still try and keep to under 20MB.

Except with iPad, most users have wi-fi only iPad's anyway.
