Please be sure to credit those who made the demo/templates that you are giving out. For example, this particular demo is one I made and posted to the Forum on November 17.

I am pretty sure you don't mean to be claiming that you made that demo. But the ambiguous wording may make it seem like you are the creator of this and other templates. (It seems that you are really supplying a service by taking others developers' demos/templates and providing a convenient place for them to be found.)

Just to make this clear -- you have my permission to host any demo/templates/games that I post on this forum. (After all, I did post them so that anyone could download them.) However, out of common courtesy, I would ask that you properly credit them.

    Thanks,

Actually your site is an open source wordpress template so i thought i was entitled to it, but i decided it would be rude to have it look the same as yours
Having someone else's work in my video was an accident we have both agreed on that
-that template was made for me months ago, and the code is not the exact same..... it is my own creation, it simply helped me..... i had to start off somewhere, i can't magically appear to be amazing at GS
-If you want ill change" GS Help" to gs instruction or something else, i didn't think it offended or copied anything as it clearly states what it is: "Gamesalad Help"
I will change everything that users don't want, if you have a problem with me: just email or PM and i will resolve it straight away!, :)
IM not a scammer, stealer, copier or anything like that......
Also i would like to mention another member has also chosen your wordpress theme: http://ceruleanswan.wordpress.com/
Please contact me buy PM or email,
    Jack

    Jack,
Now you are just embarrassing yourself. You did not change the code in the least! You did change the name of the file, and you did put in new image for the 'sand' actor. But otherwise it is completely the same work as the one I posted on Nov. 17th. Here is the exact same zip file I posted then (it was still in my trash folder):
    http://speedy.sh/Arggw/SandBoxDemo.zip

Compare them and you (or anybody else who gives a hoot) will see that it is a direct copy, and you did not change the "code".

Once again, I think you can provide the GS community with a great service by providing a hosting place for all the templates/demos/examples that others have posted to the forums. But you really should give proper credit to the authors of those works. (And for my part, I guess I will now need to start adding author identification info into every demo I post to the forums.)

I do appologise, but i created this from a new file...... It may have been the same code.... everything is removed from everywhere contact me on thermoapps@gmail.com if you have further issues with me, i am not an scammer or copier, i will fix any issue that is put up to me

    Jack!
You keep digging yourself deeper and deeper into a pit of your own making. It is the same file! You did not create it from a new file. Everything is completely the same, all the actors are placed in the scene in the exact place I placed them (down to the pixel). The actors all have the same names, the attributes all have the same names I gave them. The 'code' is the same as I made. It is the same file!

As I said, all you did was change the file name, and you replaced the 'sand' actor's image with another image. That's it!

Once again, I put that demo (and all the demos I post to the forum) out for anyone to use. You have my complete permission to rehost it and make it available for others to download. But you really should -- out of common courtesy -- give credit to the authors of the works you are making available to the public.

I apologise, IF you want i will set you up a page on my website where you can post all this stuff, ill give you an account and everything so you can edit it and stuff

    Jack,
    No need for an apology.

All I am asking is that you simply credit the authors of the works you are publishing. For example, you could have a 'created by: xxxxxxxx' right next to a download link. Its not a big deal. (But you should not imply that you authored the content of someone's work.)

And perhaps you should have a disclaimer at the top of the page that says something like this; "These demos are gleaned from many sources and I try to give credit where I can find the author of the work, however on occasion authorship is unknown. (If you are the author/creator please contact me and I will give proper credit.)"

    Best wishes,
    RThurman
