In my game an actor is animated when an action is performed. I have been using a place holder image as my actor until I had the animating finished. I now have it set up so the main image of the actor is a still image and then when the mouse is clicked an animation is played. Here is where I am stuck. The image now shows up as a white box 50px x 50px (same as actor size) when I preview the game although in creator and in the actor menu it seems to be fine? Also when clicked the white box dissapears and my animation plays but when you release the click the animation stops and if done correctly it should return to my original still image but instead returns to a white box? I have tried many things! Deleted actors and rebuilt. Erased all images and replaced, even attempted a different format (Usually use .png but tried .jpg as well). Nothing! Short of starting a whole new game, which would be days of work thrown out, I can not figure out how to fix it. Any ideas would be much appreciated! 7h4n|{$ ƒ0r 7h3 H3£p!

Delete the actor and do a save as. Then open the new file you created as a save as and try making a new actor.

Uncheck "Restore actor image when done".

Was there ever a fix or solution for this problem? I am having the same issue. I changed the graphic to the one I want to use from the temp one. The first time the game starts the actor is a white box. After the actor is destroyed and re-spawned then it comes back correct. I've tried 72dpi and changing graphics again to no avail. Am I just going to have recreate this actor again from scratch?

A two word post (the emoticon doesn't count, lol  ) in a 3 year old thread, giving absolutely no details about your specific issue isn't going to make finding a solution easy.

@hapietzsch please start a new thread and as @socks suggested, add details about what it is you're trying to do and what is and is not working. You may want to reference this thread.
