Looking for Partial / Full Games (Full Rights) Will Pay Top Dollar

GannuscioGannuscio Member Posts: 36
Hello All,

I have previously developed 2 games with GameSalad and would like to develop more but I just can't find the time as of lately which leads me to seek partial / full games to include full rights.

My company focus is on educational games from grades preschool to high school. If you have any games that are partially developed or you are interested in selling a fully developed game to include all rights please shoot me an email.

Brian@mathzee.com

Will to pay in the high $xxx - $x,xxx range for the right games.

Thanks!

Brian

    I got a frikin awesome idea i think this one would be 1000$, do you think you could pay that for an awesome game (btw done in xcode)

    MjMDesign,

    It would depend on the game as the amount would not be an issue. Having said that I would prefer games developed in Gamesalad so I could continue to build upon them and update them myself. Send me an email at Brian@mathzee.com and let me know your thoughts.

    @ozboybrian
    Rarely do you find an indie game that high... Indie games are usually $100-$800
    Now if you're looking at an amazing TSB game... Id pay $2000 for one of those! :)

    @mjmDesign As I've warned before a 12 Year old cannot take on a project like this, It is illegal, You didn't even tell him that you were 12
    @Gannuscio
    MJmDesign is only 12... So just be warned
    I got a frikin awesome idea i think this one would be 1000$, do you think you could pay that for an awesome game (btw done in Xcode)
    @mjmdesign You can have all the "Fricking Awesome Ideas" You want... Just don't take up a project
    Look @mjmDesign I know you think I'm trying to get you into trouble or something, Im not... Im trying to keep you out of trouble, What you're doing is illegal, Ive warned you before,,,
    Yours Sincerely,
    J. Leonard

    @Leonard its not illegal to work for someone under the age of 18. They just can't sign contracts (well they can its just void so its something they obviously shouldn't then do). I understand that most people will want to sign contracts when large amounts of money are involved but if for instance he is doing a £100 job most people won't ask for contracts to be signed. In this case your right to point it out as realistically they will need a contract.
    Also you posted above saying you had potential projects and you admit yourself your not 18 so I'm slightly confused.

    p.s. Im not trying to argue with you here but don't like others being put down unfairly.

    @bright-spark-games
    You're mistaking, If you had actually read the posts you would understand, You see I was going to sell a project which is perfectly legal, But what @mjmdesign Was doing was offering to make project for hime for $1000 which is illegal for under 18, Especially for a 12 yr old... He didn't even mention he was 12...
    I know your trying to argue with me! :) Im just pointing out that a 12 yr old can't do a $1000 project that will need a contract
    Theres no reason for confusions as I was selling projects MJM was going to make a project..
    Theres a difference

    Im not sure what your getting at as neither are illegal. You selling him a project is exactly the same as him making one for him as at the end of day the same thing will happen; he will pay you money for some code.

    I found this example on the internet to try and explain:

    You are 17 and see a car you want. You sign a finance contract and take the car home. Once there your parents tell you no, explain why it would not be in your best interest and you agree, taking the car back to the dealer.

    Under law, the dealer must take the car back and void the contract.

    OR, you are 17, see a car you like and sign the finance contract, make all payments, enjoy the vehicle for a few months and get a call from the dealer telling you that the car must be returned because you're too young to have signed the contract.

    You tell the dealer no deal. You do not wish to void the contract. Under law you can enforce the terms of the contract.

    -----
    Im not trying to argue with you, just trying to stop any confusions on the matter.

    @MjMDesign Im sure GameSalad is shaking in their boots ;) BTW Unity can be made no code so not sure why they would bother to compete with a very well established 3D engine.
  • GraphicWarehouseGraphicWarehouse Member Posts: 927
    how do you make unity no code
    ?
  • tenrdrmertenrdrmer Member, Sous Chef, Senior Sous-Chef Posts: 9,934
    There are add-ons that make it drag and drop. I don't personally know how it all works. I have just been pitched several times on why I should move over to unity and that was one justification given since I don't care to code.

    Gents,

    I would only be interested in working with folks that were able to sign NDA's along with contracts. I own an LLC and I cannot take any risk without those items. Having said that, I am still looking for educational games.

    LeonardDeveloper,

    I am not sure if I ever received an email from you. If you have games in the $100 - $800 range I would be extremely interested.
