Help with a project

Hi guys,
I hope you're all well and happy new year.
Just wondering if anyone can help me with a project I've started working on - it's using a template that was originally within GameSalad, but appears to have vanished.
Basically, my character doesn't seem to stay on the correct line - it looks fine when I'm putting it together, but when you test it it jumps up by about 20 pixels.
Also, when you click the shoot button, nothing seems to appear (although the programming hasn't changed).
Anyhow, non of this really makes sense in written form - so, if anyone can help I'm more than happy to email you what I've done so far.
