Sounds sometimes change volume.

I've been having a problem with sound that I can't seem to fix.
I have. Sound playing every two seconds. It has the volume turned down to .1 or something.
When space bar is pressed, the same sound is played, but with different tuning (it ends up sounding like a clicking sound.)
These two work fine on their own, but when I press space, and it clicks, the next timer based sound is loude than it should be, and the next few sounds are loud, but slowly get quieter one by one, until they're back to normal.
Is there something I can do to fix this, or is this a bug (I saw someone talking about a sound bug)
