Problem getting GameSalad Creator to recognize my device with GS Viewer Installed

I have successfully gotten GS Viewer on my iPod touch to test out my game. However, when I open up Creator, then run the GS Viewer on my device, no icon for "Preview on iPhone" shows up on my computer. I've tried this maybe 10 or 15 times now, starting up the two programs in different orders. Please help.

I would also like to note that I have successfully tested this game on my actual device through ad hoc, but I figured it'd be easier to get the GS Viewer set up. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

You must have both devices on the same Wifi Network for GS to recognize the Device.

Someone also had this problem and they didn't install with the proper version of Xcode. For the latest version of the viewer you must have Xcode 4.2. There are two different versions one for Lion and one for 10.6.8. If you didn't install with Xcode 4.2 get it and reinstall.

@tenrdrmer I forgot to mention that I do have them on the same wifi network.

@FryingBaconStudios Okay, I now have the updated Xcode. I tried building and running the GS Viewer on my device (from Xcode), but no luck. Do I have to do anything other than simply rebuilding the GS Viewer project in the new version of Xcode?

The GS Viewer is now working on my device! Thanks for the replies. I guess updating Xcode must have fixed it.
