Perfecting Tilt To Move
Feel is very important for a game, so I thought that I would get a discussion going so people could throw around different theories on how best to implement a tilt to move feature.
The app I'm working on is a little like Space Invaders, where you can move left and right, but it's controlled by tilt. I'm trying to get as close to the feel of Super Meat Boy, which was responsive, but had just the right amount of weight to it. Seems like accelerate will be the way to get this, though the creator suggests it is best for keyboard (I imagine on/off commands), and it still feels a bit "icey".
