Have Actors Slide Past As You Swipe

Hi
I am trying to create the following without success. I want to be able to swipe my screen either left or right and the actors move past like in cover flow, obviously without the pretty animation, just flat images go past. Sadly I am not quite there. Would appreciate the help, thanks.
