Ad-Hoc publishing

I managed to publish the game using my ad-hoc provisioning profile. Problem is, when I sync my iPhone with iTunes, the game begins to load, and then it tells me that the game "failed to install". Can anyone tell me what the problem is here? I am pretty sure I added my device to the provisioning profile...

    If you've done the provisioning profile correctly, you could check the following;

    iTunes is up to date.
    Make sure you're using a genuine apple cable.

    Both of these 2 things have caused me problems before.

    iTunes is up to date, and Im using the cable that came with my iPhone. So either of those things are the ones causing the problem.
