in your graphic program draw a spider web … the width of the sceneSize you are using and about 100-150 height
draw your web with a transparent background
when it looks good … save as a png (72dpi) … import into GS and drag to an actor … make sure it is on a new sceneLayer so it appears above the other actors
if you don't want to actually draw the web Spiders and Webs has Free ones, you might use.
Does anyone have any tutorials in how to create realistic spider webs, I've tried on Photoshop but can't get it too look good. I want this to act as an border around my background.

Or In a vector app like illustrator draw round/curved lines and place then where needed. You'd also need the cross section lines.
Or visit istockphoto and pay for one
