In the GameSalad community projects window (when you start the program) I found a project called 'App Rating Template'. Inside it, it has the OpenURl command.
What's stopping me copying that command into another of my projects and using it without going PRO? I thought it was weird that I could see and actually do that. Will it get stripped out during publish?

Are there other PRO command that are in there just waiting for people to copy/paste out? Surely it wouldn't be that easy.

You can see Pro features in projects that include them.

However, on publishing, you obviously send the game to GS through your account. And if it's not Pro, then the Pro features won't work.

    Sorry!

That's what I figured. But thanks for confirming. I'll wipe the smile off my face now.

On the same subject then, is there a project out there that has all the pro features in it so that people can 'test drive' to see if they 'like' it enough to go pro?

you cannot test drive the pro feature as u need a 'live' app to see the function work. other then open url that may work during preview, other then that i don't think any pro features can be tested.
