Cocoa error 13 (resolved)

Hi,

I am attempting to do an adhoc build of my game. It uploads ok then asks me where to save it. I point it to the correct directory the get
"Cocoa error 13"

Any ideas why?

well that is a *permission denied* error … and that really tells a lot! :O

try downloading to a different place on your computer ??? … downloadFolder ?

think if it uploaded and the download is ready, all is fine with your app and Apple

forgot to say why you may have got that error and what to do about it!

In Applications>Utilities> open Disk Utilities.app and run Repair Disks Permissions
we users often mess-up those permissions by changing read/write status; deleting apps and deleting associated files; or crashing things!
since, I am notorious for really abusing things (I seriously keep apps in desktop/documents) … I do the repairs about once a month!
if you have never done this, the first time may take some time … and don't fret if you can't repair some of them …
