Bullets moving as shot with actor ?!

Hi,

Im having the problem that when my actor shoots upwards to say destroy a platform, the bullet moves in line with the main actor thats constrained to the ouch slide attribute. this leads to problems as I'm sure you can imagine in the gameplay (allowing to whip around corners etc).. is there anyway to make it so once the bullet is fired it looses its connection with the actor and simply fly straight as it was originally shot ?
