apple only takes 30 percent. Also the finacial reports where it says whats owed, are from the previous month. So if your saying you had 15 sales yesterday, you wont see them on a finacial report till next month.
just a quick qns, how is iAds eraning calculated? it's not added in the total earning with apps sales?? cos i never see it being added to the recent report .
if you check your detail report it should tell you which one is purchased and which ones are promo code.. sometimes you get charge-back as well when customer doesn't like what they see.
and, of course, always check the figures! but, remember the date they are compiled on and what time-frame they represent!
personally, I don't mind Apple's 30% they: test my app; store and cover download bandwidth; collect payment; pay all the credit card transactions fees; promote my app/make it available to targeted customers; provide a degree of trust to those customers; do my book-keeping; provide me with financial statements the government will not question; …etc.
