Why Does The Version I Upload To My iPod Stay The Same?

I've updated my game, but whenever I upload it to my iPod, the version of the game that loads is always the very first version I uploaded. Can anyone help me with this?

While I have your attention, I also still need help with my pachinko game. On that game whenever I play it on my iPod the ball just passes right through the pegs and the game ALWAYS freezes after about 10 seconds. I REALLY need help on this one, and I've been asking for help on this game for a couple of weeks now with no help.

Are you using the GS viewer app on your iPod?

If not, are you remembering to drag-n-drop the newly acquired <YourAppName>.app file onto your iTunes icon (or into iTunes app when open) each time you re-upload/generate the .app file on the GS website?

Also, you may have to delete the old version too. I ended up with two versions once (the 1.0.1 and the 1.0.2) version. I ran the old one thinking it was the new one and I was all "WTF?" Then I noticed the other version amongst the various pages of apps on the device.

just delete the one on your ipod

If you are sending it through itunes you have to delete or nothing happens

I actually figured out a solution to my first problem. All I did was change the Version number from 1.0 to say 1.1 and it worked!

I'm curious, how many clicks from the Mac version to the Ipod version running on the target machine? It takes me a LOT of clicks and I was wondering if it is the same for you.

Rather than changing the version number just delete the current version off the iphone/itouch first - works for me!
