some of them conforms to the "boundary" some of them fights it, some of them uses the shape as a connotation device... i think the most successful ones uses a bit of all three. while others looks disgusting as in betweens that seems like a mis-fit.

and yes of course logo plays a big part it's the first thing you see!... now if only GS can fix the splash screen pixelation issues, since that's the 2nd thing you see.

those icons for utilities that photographically represent what they do are the best. they look so clean.
