we are all very happy to help anytime someone asks but one of my biggest pet peeves is when people want their hand held all the way through. When someone points you to a demo or something that is close to what you want. you need to take the time to learn from it and see if you can adjust it to work for you. While we like helping people out. were not gonna take the time to reinvent the wheel in 6 different variations to suit individual needs. I don't mean to come across terribly Harsh. and I defiantly don't want to discourage you from asking more questions. Just keep that I in mind. You need to put forth some effort so next time when someone points you in the right direction you can say im having no luck figuring out a way to make it work like this……….
Instead of, Well thats not Exactly what I want.
Hope that makes sense. Good luck with your projects.
Cheers

"we are all very happy to help anytime someone asks but . . . . "
Yep, well said ! . . . . If we are on the subject of pet peeves . . . . this one never fails to get me:
The OP asks a question, someone (TSB in this case) takes the time to respond to his question even including a link to various free templates and pointing him towards the relevant one . . . and there is not so much as a 'thanks' !?
I've seen it time and time again on this forum, someone asks a question, someone else takes the time to put together a comprehensive answer with examples and links and occasionally even code something for the OP, the OP responds with "that's not what I want, I want this . . . ".
I'll check my 'death list' to see if you are on it, as far as I remember only the top 50 are going to be shot come the revolution.
Please can you tell me where i put these please .
