Infinite symbol in Display Text?

I want to display an infinity-sign (tilted 8) in a Display Text, and was wondering if anybody knew how to do that?
Sure, I could write an 8 and rotate the Display Text, but I will probably require some other signs that are not so easily manipulated in the future, so I might as well learn.
Here are some regular escape-codes for html, but they don't seem to work or I dont know how:

    and, if you can't remember all the option+keys of chars/symbols … like hi-IQ-QS … ;)

    when you are in GS click the menuBar > Edit > Special Characters… and pop-up the special characters viewer
    some of the pictographs wont work … but all the ascii will, if entered in a font supported by GS!
