Complete noob question: can't reset anything on the actor?

Okay, so I just started GameSalad tonight and I'm super stoked about its potential. However, I'm totally stumped and I know I did something wrong.

I made an actor, and I attached a rule on it for clicking, then a behavior that made it accelerate. I successfully made it move off to the right when I clicked on it. However, then I wanted to do something completely different to play around. I deleted the accelerate behavior and added a timer with a log debug statement behavior in it. I then went to Preview it and it still moves when I click it! The behaviors that I previously deleted are all still there! What's up with that? How do I clear all the previous behaviors I put on the actor and do something different? I don't have to delete the actor do I?

I'm confused. :) Help?

Delete the actor and then drag in a new one from the actor menu, this will re-synchronise it to the actor template you have changed.

Where did you change the behaviors?
in the Prototype (Game Actor panel on the left?) or…
in the actorInstance (actor in the scene?)

Did you unlock the actorInstance behaviors' panel?
if yes, then the Accelerate behavior is still active on that actorInstance.
click [ Revert to Prototype ] to re-lock it! … you don't have to delete the little pony!

do all your original behavior controlling attempts in the Prototype
comment-out (turn-off) the behaviors you don't want active
newBehaviors and commenting automatically translate to a locked actorInstance behaviors

Glad to see you here in GS Forum … and enjoy yourself!
