Has anyone played 'Angry Birds' ? - that is one very polished game.

Just seen on the UK app store, that Angry birds is in number one position for paid apps, above Doodle Jump.

Thought I'd see what all the fuss is about and bought it.

Very nice game, gorgeous animation, cute graphics and good physics. The basic idea of the game is very similar to 'Kill the King', but with a panning camera.

Obviously had some money and time behind it, but I can't see any real reason why the game could'nt be made using GameSalad, with a lot of work.

Makes me think I should spend a whole lot longer on my 1st game, and get it at least a 5th as polished as 'Angry Birds'. I know its not essential but it must help spread the word of the game if its really nicely finished.

Hi draper. I havent played it but it does look very polished. Im about 60% through making my 1st proper game and im certainly trying to make it looked polished. At the end of the day you only have 1 chance to make a 1st impression, in our case its really from our screenshots on the appstore, if your game can show great graphics i think your close to the sale, obviously the idea needs to appeal but what will tip them towards purchasing is the look of the game

I love Angry Birds, very cute game, was playing it last night, and it is very polished

It gets pretty hard on some of the later levels too

got it last night, and it's great fun. really playable, really polished. just all round good.
