Back layer = actor priority?

Does GameSalad always prefer to select the actors on layers further back when pressing on them? I would have thought it would be the other way around and give precedent to actors in the front.

This example scene shows two moveable boxes, if you place them over each other and then try to grab one, the rear box will always get priority. I've even tried this with an offset, it always seems to be the case.

Thanks!

Thanks @GLGames, I downloaded, pretty neat. I saw a video about this from tshirtbooth, but it doesn't explain what is going on here with the layer selection priority.
