Hi guys,

I needed some help here, I have a fish that swims around in water and I need to have gravity bring him back down into the water once he jumps out of it. I am using the directional pad template that is provided on GS, and I have the fish actor always set to accelerate downward, but the dpad overrides this accelerate logic when you are moving the fish. Once you take your finger off the screen then the fish will start falling. I need no gravity in water and heavy gravity when out of water. Thanks.

Maybe try having a game boolean inWater so the stick only works if inWater is true, if the fish is say >200 Y then do inWater = false otherwise inWater = true.

There is so much logic in the controls for that template that I cannot figure out which attribute I have to change to false when I leap out of water to turn off controls properly, let alone add acceleration towards the water again.

Anyone wanna help out? I'll send the file. TSB or Utopian, think you can help?
